As all writers know, words are our tools, our paint, our musical notes. Monte Vista's 21st Century Writing class wanted to demonstrate their love of words (and meme-making!) by creating digital compositions for some of those magical words that can express the inexpressible. Enjoy their work in the following "Words for Writers" presentation.

ReplyDelete#19 cause it's so pretty and deep
ReplyDeleteChrysalsim #2. I like how the text boxes are placed. The contrast of the text to the pictures is really great, and the picture is great, a window splattered with rain. I don't even need to read the definition to know the theme of what the word is about. The font is typewriterish, which makes me think of writing and rainy days.
ReplyDelete#7 Because i'm only here so i don't get fined :D
ReplyDelete#15 is my favorite
ReplyDeletethanks
Deletei like it because i think its funny
Delete#20. It looks very pretty with the font and image. I also really like the mirror imaging with the grey. Looks simple but deep.
ReplyDeleteMy personal favorite is Brianna's meme of Occhiolism (Slide 16)! I really love the blending of the two images and I can feel the pain of the woman.
ReplyDeleteI liked #2 because it was a perfect balance between image and text.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is #16 because it is so simple but so powerful at the same time. And I love the font:)
